LAND ANIMALS

These are the critters that we usually find around the house or in the bush. Most are harmless but some do sting and bite so its good to know what you're looking at. Please ALWAYS consider catch and release of our island bugs as many of them are very important polinators of our fruit and flowes here and food for our larger native species. For those who may be browsing but dont live in the USVIs well.... we got dem bugs! Lots of them! The USVIs are currently home to over 1,300 species of insects and some of our spiders can get as big as your hand. No worries though they'll gobble up all those roaches! Ahhh paradise!
