Who they are:

At-Bristol is a national leading science research science centre that uses a range of hands-on multimedia techniques that review the latest technology and engage youngsters from the ages of 3+.

 

Opening time:

At-Bristol Opens every day from 10-6pm on weekends and 10-5pm weekdays! Not including 9-10 September and 24th, 25th and 26th December

 

Facilities

There are a number of hands-on displays ranging from the No More Waste exhibit to exhibits exploring how the brain works. There is also a planetarium to see the stars or live shows to see science in action! As well as this, there is an indoor picnic area to fill up before you go and explore some more!

Transport:

If you’re travelling by bike, you’re in luck! There are bicycle racks on the outside and the science museum is on-route to the national cycle network. However, if you are coming from a further location by train, the museum is only 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple meads train station or 10 minute bus ride! Buses come regularly from the train station, just hop onto number 8/9 or any bus service from the city centre gets to At-Bristol. Don’t forget that you can travel by ferry!!! The closest stops are City centre and Cannons Marsh, and then you can get the bus to At-Bristol. There are of course car parking spaces if you choose to travel by car. Just follow the tourist signs to At-Bristol science museum!
