Aim of competition:

This is a competition run annually at the University of Southampton. In this competition, students design and build their own robot using the kit provided by Student Robotics and materials that can be baught with the budget given by the Student Robotics team. These robots are designed for a particular activity which is announced each year, with every year's competition having a different activity. The student Robotics competition is run entirely by university students - mainly from the University of Southampton and the University of Bristol. Once the robots have been created and tested for safety measures, all of the competitors are invited to Southampton University to compete head on against each other in the heats. Those who do well in the heats then progress to the semi-finals and then the finals.
