Who they are:

The Faraday Museum is a place of discovery, imagination and innovation. Ever wonder why the sky is blue? Well the Faraday museum has all the answers to the scientific questions that you have! There are exhibitions and games for you to try out and film clips to explain the history of the world-changing science that has happened at the royal institute of Great Britain.

 

Opening time:

The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 6pm. However, it is occasionally closed for other events so give them a call to make sure they’re open!

 

Facilities

There are over 100 exhibits that will interest the whole family from exploring the universe to the waste and recycling station! The hands on experience definitely bring the science to life! There is also a café on site and a gift shop featuring a range of interesting toys and souvenirs.

Admission to the museum is FREE!

Transport:

The closest underground station is Green park and it is a 5 minute walk to the museum. If you plan to travel by bus, the numbers 9, 14, 19, 22, 38 all travel to the entrance to the museum. There is bicycle parking for those who want to travel by bike! Traveling by car is not advised because of the lack of parking spaces available and also, the museum is in the middle of the congestion charging zone.
